Workshop Berbasis Studi Kasus Meningkatan Pemahaman Dangerous Goods Handling pada Peserta Diklat di Politeknik Penerbangan Palembang

Keselamatan penerbangan mensyaratkan penanganan dangerous goods yang sesuai ketentuan, mencakup kompetensi klasifikasi, identifikasi, pelabelan, pengemasan, dan prosedur penanganannya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta diklat penerbangan mengenai prinsip dangerous goods handling melalui workshop berbasis studi kasus di Politeknik Penerbangan Palembang. Pelatihan tatap muka ini meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, studi kasus, dan demonstrasi identifikasi label, dengan fokus pada sembilan kelas dangerous goods, persyaratan pengemasan dan pelabelan, prosedur penerimaan barang, serta penanganan awal kondisi darurat. Hasil observasi dan diskusi kelompok menunjukkan peserta aktif berpartisipasi dan sebagian besar mampu mengidentifikasi sembilan kelas dangerous goods, menentukan hazard label yang sesuai, serta menjelaskan prosedur penanganan awal pada skenario yang diberikan. Workshop ini diharapkan memperkuat budaya keselamatan (safety culture) dan mendukung peningkatan kompetensi SDM di bidang transportasi udara.
